Comments
Comments: Conditions are ideal for bushwhacking: no bugs, leaves down off trees. And hiking in and around Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest is always interesting as you pass numerous field stations and measuring devices.

Hiked up forest service roads heading NW towards peak. Took to end and bushwhacked up to ridge and onto the peak. We crossed an obvious, yellow-blazed snomo road, and upon crossing it the second time, took this up to the ridge. On the descent, we followed this road all the way, dumping us back into the forest service road. On the ascent, this snomo road is not obvious, but it is on the right, in a small field just prior to the what appears to be the end of the FR. From the top of the snomo road, it's an easy 0.4 mile bushwhack.

Found the register.

Great day in the woods with Gorbo and Rueben.
