Comments
Comments: The trail had a dusting of snow on top of the wet snow from Monday. As one gets closer to the notch the snow increased to about 6 inches. I got an early start and so could bareboot to the jct. with the Kilkenny Ridge trail coming down the Terrace. There I put on snowshoes for the rest of the hike. One section along Bunnell brook was badly postholed by two moose. The trail from the Cabin to the summit was hard to follow as previous tracks had been covered by drifting snow. I stayed fairly close to the trail but I am sure I wandered off from time to time. If you follow my tracks you'll get there. On the way back to the car the snow got wet and heavy on the snowshoes. Had the mountain to myself.
