Comments
Comments: The trail was very wet and slippery with the recent rain and wet leaves. The lower half was drying on our way out. But I still took a digger on a wet root.
The switchbacks at the top are very steep and with the wetness on the trail footing wasn’t good. Lots of wet roots under the leaf cover. If it dries I think footing would be ok. All in all... the view was worth all the work going up. Bright sunshine. We stayed for at least an hour enjoying it. Oh, and the blazing was plentiful on the lower section where the trail flattens out so it was easy to follow.
