| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Late Sunday start at 1:30pm, still plenty of parking at the main Livermore Rd lot. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One small (trivial) spot with runoff on Scaur Ridge Tr, basically no water crossings otherwise. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Small blowdowns on Scaur Ridge and Mt Tripyramid Tr between the peaks. Still some larger ones on Livermore Tr, just before the start of Scaur Ridge Tr, which have been there for a few seasons now. All pretty easy to step over/under. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
didn't see any |
| Bugs: |
some late season mature flies, no big deal |
| Lost and Found: |
A large mason jar (15+" tall) at the summit of Middle Tri, sitting right in the middle of the trail. I poked through it for just a minute before my hands got cold, at first I thought it was a geocache but it looked more like a carefully assembled memorial with family photos and a bunch of knicknacks. Not sure what to make of this, though I suspect it'll be moved/removed in short order as it was totally unsecured. |

| Comments: |
Nice day out on the trail - saw just a few people on Livermore Rd, and nobody on the actual trails up to the peaks. Just the smallest traces of snow/ice in the leaves near the summits, but otherwise a dry, late fall day in the whites. Had on the trail runners, no traction needed on this day. Still some good yellow/orange foliage at the lower elevations. Tri's FTW! |
