Had planned all week to hike Huntington, then the storm happened, so I took Tuckerman's instead. Light traction not required, but I would have felt unsafe without it. Temps were pretty warm, wind was quite low, views were expansive; great day to be above treeline. The rime ice was everywhere, and it was awesome. Trails were busy, but not as busy as I'd have thought given the forecast. |
