not much traffic on these trails. great views of snowy Mt. Washngton from Hall's ledge. navigating the x-c ski trails over to Hutmens proper was a little head scratchy. some clearer signage would be much appreciated. we followed one of the unnamed (?) trails that had very faded orange blazing that led to a highpoint (red painted cairn and a decorated fir tree) and ended at a cliff with a view. the steep descent on Hutmens was filled in with leaves but we didn't slide too much. |
