Comments
Comments: Conditions: A dusting of new snow on a firm base on 19 Mile Brook Tr. Bare boots and spikes were fine to Carter Dome Tr. Jct. Snowshoes for the rest of the day. We did an out and back to the Dome, South and Middle Peaks. There were 9 of us in Hiker Ed's group, so the trail is well broken out. We started to make the loop after M. Carter, but the trail wasn't broken out beyond since the last storm, so we turned around and came back the way we went in. Our tracks just go about 1/4 past M. Carter. Just for your info. It snowed most of the day about 1 to 2" during the hike.
