Comments
Comments: Trails were damp today, as the sun was coming out for the first time since the storm this week. In addition, snow was melting above 3,000 feet, resulting in showers from the trees.

Mt. Tecumseh Trail was damp with snow mixed in above 3,500 or so. A tiny bit of black ice on a few rocks near the summit. Snow was never more than a dusting, so Microspikes would be of no use. I was able to bareboot without issue. With the exception of a few places on the ridge, the ground was not frozen, so I would not expect most of the snow to make it through the day today.

Pretty much all trees above 3,000 feet have dropped their leaves, leaving the trail coated in slippery leaves. Still some late foliage colors in the lower elevations.
