| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Haystack road lot was pretty empty, 1 car upon arrival around 8:40 am and 3 or 4 when I left at about 4 pm. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Some rock hopping was necessary, although crossings were generally easy to do. Did not follow the herd path to avoid 2 crossings, which would've made life easier. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No blowdowns on trail, but some recently cut trees off to the sides. Thanks trail maintainers! |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
None at all, perfect! |
| Lost and Found: |
A dog leash was on a tree about halfway from the parking lot up to North Twin, was unsure if someone left it there for later pickup since it was in an obvious spot on a branch. A few other items were left down at the information kiosk at the trailhead. |

| Comments: |
Great day for a hike - sunny in the morning, with increasing clouds (high and overhead, views were great). VERY windy up top, as a storm system was supposed to roll in overnight. Not sure how the trail is after that storm came through, however, because some snow was in the forecast. |
