Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on Falling Waters Trail were easy as the water level is about normal right now.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape with only 2 blowdowns that I remember. The paint blazes are in fair condition but these 2 trails are easy to follow due to high usage.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw about 10 dogs today.
Bugs: None.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One T shirt and the sole of a boot that I carried out and disposed in the trash.
Comments: A really great day to be on Franconia Ridge. It was quiet early on these trails but when I was heading down the Falling Waters Trail, I must have met over 50 people and 10 dogs on the way up. Temps from 35 to 55 with sunny sky and some clouds.
