|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Adams, NH|
|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, October 12, 2019|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Parking at Lowe's Gulf is a whopping buck. |
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|Water Crossing Notes:
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Trail was in fine shape, though with the fallen leaves, some parts are harder to discern than others. Also, leaves do a great job of hiding the mud puddle beneath. Beware there's some significant sections down low where the mud will take some creativity to cross without your feet disappearing. |
||An enthusiastic terrier was enjoying a clement autumn day. Its owners did mention being cautious on the upper reaches -- those rocks aren't always friendly to paws. |
|Lost and Found:
||It was a fine day to be outside. Unfortunately the view from the top got shrouded by a late-arriving cloud. There was plenty to see from below the summit, though -- including a rainbow as I descended. It's still rocky, still slow going, but still a nice climb. |
