Delayed post.
The Old Carriage Path is clearly not heavily used, but it is a direct shot to the auto road. The trail has a rather steady incline so it requires a bit more effort than it looks like it would. After a 1/4 of mile on the auto road you find yourself at the developed summit with the unique stone fire tower.
