Comments
Comments: Trail through the hardwoods was very wet Tuesday evening (from Monday's rain), particularly in places not yet improved by the trail crew. Lots of muck and running water. Golden foliage, with a carpet of leaves higher up. The softwoods approach up to Starr King was wet/slippery. Starr King view has been trimmed back, providing a better look at the Presis.

Lots of mud between the peaks.

Foliage is about peak from Campton up to Twin and perhaps a little past from there north, but still good.
