With the lack of views I considered heading over and bagging Hale, but decided to stick with my initial plan and hike Cannon. Hi-Cannon is steep, but not sure it belongs on the Terrifying 25. Tons of mud after the ladder and steeps. Headed to the lake, which was mostly fogged in. Shared some time with a friendly duck, then headed out in a light mist. At least the rain held off all day. Good hike, even if my foliage views were better on the drive home. |
