Date of Hike: Monday, September 30, 2019
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: No issues, 5 vehicles present on arrival with room for a couple more at least I think
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Took the suggestion of not taking the first of 3 water crossings in the first 2 mile stretch; instead following a meandering unmarked trail by staying east of Little River leaves only the 3rd of 3 crossings to take which is pretty clearly marked with yellow blazes.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Everything is in great shape ! Some sections are the rockiest trails underfoot that I've been on in a while; I wasn't sure if the stretch at the top approaching South Twin peak wasn't part of a 'Tough Mudder' competition. :-P It was quite the mud fest.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A red doggie watering bag labeled Boerhinger-Ingelheim . Left it at the trail kiosk.

Comments
Comments: Wonderful hike overall. Fewer than 8 hikers encountered all day. The hike from North to South is marked as 1.3 miles in trail book and 1.0 mile on sign located on South Twin. Either way, the hike to South was easier than I thought it would be.
