Comments
Comments: Glencliff Trailhead technically starts just below the parking lot on High Street (you drive by it on your way to the lot). Others were using the logging road from the lot. Trail was a little wet from recent rain, so some rocks and roots were slippery. Steady climb all the way to Carriage Road. Didn’t see anyone on the way up until we got to Carriage Road. Only saw one person when we were coming down. This route seems to be less traveled than typical routes from the lodge to the summit, but we enjoyed it. South Peak is worth the few minute detour and has great views of Mount Moosilauke.
