Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Herd trail is very well travelled and easy to skip the first two. Low water so the third was easy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail maintenance was working on our way down and had some paint to hopefully some of the iffy spots will be clearer. Thank you!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A good dog hike and quite a few out. After the crossings and a few more streams there is NO water right now. Unless you count nasty mud.
Bugs
Bugs: too windy

Comments
Comments: This was a pleasant hike and the herd path was very easy to follow. Water levels are low so the 3rd crossing was easy to traverse. Beautiful clear views and just wind to contend with this day. Very muddy between north and south twin. Had to test with poles if it was mud or a rock to step on. Is this normal?
