Looks like NH DOT crews were using the area next to/behind the trailhead parking on Route 302 as a staging area for heavy equipment. May be a good idea not to park too close or get in their way. |

On September 7, 2019, I left a pair of trekking poles in the Great Gulf trailhead parking area off Route 16. Grey/Black color Black Diamond poles. If anyone reading this happened to pick them up, please contact me via e-mail - dlefevre@tarbellpa.com. |

First post for me on NewEnglandTrailConditions.com.
Quick early morning hike up and down Jackson before work. Had the trail and summit to myself. If I had more time, today would have been excellent day to add the loop over Webster. Great weather, brisk temperatures, light wind, and clear skies. No issues with the trail. I caught the sunrise from the summit. Just about as good as it gets. |
