	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

	Water Crossing Notes:	All low

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	South of Jefferson, there's a sign that says "Madison Spring Hut - 3.2 miles." North of Jefferson (so CLOSER to the hut), there's a sign that says "Madison Spring Hut - 3.7 miles." Unwelcome news.

	Dog-Related Notes:	Didn't see many, given the weather! Not many humans either.

	Bugs:	Why are there always flies on Adams????? Even in the rain and high winds? What are they made of? Those must be the hardiest bugs on earth.
