Comments
Comments: Don't think I'd ever had a view here... until today - YAY. Trail is unmarked by blazes but PLENTY of surveyor tape. Start of trail took a bit to find - it is at the far end of the field - look for the plank bridge across the small brook and the trail goes up from there. A few obscure sections - woods are open and fun to explore so it really doesn't matter if you get off trail. Super-pleasant trail with a nice soft surface. The short steep section goes straight up the fall line though! Fun to read the plaques at the top - especially the one about the guy who got bitten by a dog the day he was presenting his PhD thesis!
