Parking/Access Road Notes: Easy to park at 7:45am. Few spaces at 2 pm on my return.

Water Crossing Notes: Easy and lots of bridges

Trail Maintenance Notes: Some muddy areas, otherwise very well maintained

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a number of dogs that seemed happy! There is a large ladder, but I imagine the dog owners can help them up.

Bugs: Just some bees at the Zealand hut.

Comments: Great day for a hike! Trail almost flat until the approach to Zealand hut. Then you start to feel the ascent.
Fantastic view at the "view" marker--don't miss it.
The summit is just a pile of stones, without a significant view, so savor the view at Zeacliff!

I did the out and back to Zealand summit. I met others who were going on to Bondcliff, but I imagine you would need 2 cars for that.
