Walked up the forest road about 1 mile to the ATV trail (Smitty's although not labelled as such) and took a sharp right. Continued following this trail to the height of land where there is a yellow sign for the downhill drivers saying CAUTION with STEEP HILL added in magic marker. Here we entered the woods and started our bushwhack to the recognized highpoint through clear woods and a very gradual grade. Signed in the register jar and headed back the way we came. Nice hike, beautiful morning! |
