Easy walk on Cobble Hill Trail/US Forest Service Rd. Past impressive stone walls and cellar holes. At the height of land/USFS boundary headed east to summit of Cobble Hill. I found the register, wet inside, paper soggy. I place a new sheet of paper inside with new baggie. It needs new paper when you go up. Returned to Cobble Hill via taking a more northerly route to avoid ledges in the west side. Take a westerly course to Moddy Ledge, found summit cairn, but no register. If anyone is heading to Moody, bring a small jar, paper and pencil. |
