All manageable, trekking poles are helpful. |

All were in good shape and well-blazed and maintained. Ammonoosuc Trail was very wet. |

We found a walkie-talkie on Gulfside Trail while heading west toward Jewell. We left it at the front desk at the Highland Center. |

We hiked a counter-clockwise route. Ammonusuc was quite a challenge and slow-going due to wet rocks and mud. If you have never been on it before it is very challenging but the views and waterfalls are spectacular. |
