No blowdowns. These trails could really use some signage and blazing, as the entire hill is riddled with various beaten paths and side paths that split off toward private property, all of which could prove confusing. |

Some final work for the SNHG, getting an updated inventory of all the trails here. It's kind a pick your own route to the summit, as there are a few options. Just below the summit is a side path which leads to an open ledge with a good view south. I also wandered down toward Pinnacle Pond and followed two branches of a trail until they hit private property. A new trail is proposed to connect the easternmost branch back to the trailhead, allowing for a longer loop hike. Since exploring over here put me on the west side of the peak, I bushwhacked around the cone back to the parking area. Some cool cliffs on the north face. |
