Comments
Comments: Started on Shelburne Tr from Wild River Road. Left trail on old RR grade up Bull Brook. Wacked up brook looking for lumber camp but came up empty on artifacts. Traveled RR grade to end then 258 degrees true to ledges at 3300’. Excellent views at ledge. Attempted to take 305 heading to Carter-Moriah Trail. It took 2:20 to go the 0.9 miles. Don’t take that route! C-M to Moriah Brook and camped for night at excellent site at 1950’. Site has obvious trail on west side up bluff from brook. Next day down to Wild River and back to CG.
