Agree with a previous post, very eroded trail, one of the most I have seen in the Whites. I suspect it is a very old trail, regardless, it does have several water bars in place, however, many need to be cleared. I was in no hurry so I pruned heavily both up and down so most over growth for the rest of this season and most of next summer has been cut back. |

#48! Took my wife for my NH48 completion. Reserved the shortest, but maybe not easiest for her. Beautiful bluebird day. Great views from the top. My wife is a slow hiker so it gave me, as mentioned above, the opportunity to do significant pruning. There were several areas of over growth, but pruned hard. Yes, the trail has significant creep and herd trails off the main path, really too bad. All in all, great hike. |
