| Comments: |
Very fine day with skies clearing from overcast/clouded peaks to blue sky surprisingly quickly. After clouds lifted, views to everywhere except Presies, including Vt & NH peaks to 75+ miles. All the better for the best company!
Trials had nice crust until softening upper 2" lower down in pm; could do with almost any footgear, although some ice traction advised above trail juction. After imminent snowstorm?
Kestrel data: T= 20F W= 26-36mph WC= ~ minus 5F
So far, no radiation sickness experienced from Fukushima-released I-131 in the air! |
