Success Pond Road is driveable all the way to the trail up to Speck Pond (where I dropped some friends who were redlining).
I parked on the West Side Road along Success Pond, by the woods road shown on the map just SE of the peak. |

Followed Bryan C's route. Thanks, Bryan!
Walked the woods road 0.1mi to a grassy clearing. At "2:00" is an ATV track that goes into the woods (easy to miss). Took this to within 0.1 of the top and bushwhacked the rest. Took same route out.
Easy peak. The tough part is the long drive in! |
