This hike was from yesterday. Mt Flagg is a logging road (with recent use) up to the Canaan Mt junction, where there's a shelter in good condition. Canaan Mt trail is well blazed but nearly non existent at times. Perhaps intentionally especially given the signage about not maintaining trails! I really enjoyed meandering through picturesque woods, no real trouble finding the route. Decent view off the ledge and nice trail down to finish the loop. You can get a map at the office or from Franklin Sites, thanks! (http://www.franklinsites.com/hikephotos/files/nhtrailbanditossipeesbig-2009-0120.jpg).
