The one stream crossing on the hiking trail is dry. |

No issues aside from the usual mud, water and general destruction along the ridge. |

Sure. Be aware there is an aggressive dog at the first house from the parking area. |

The plan was for a nice short walk up to Whiteface, but I turned back shortly before the summit when I could hear ATVs and LOUD country music. Like, blasting. Not my thing.
So, to mix it up a bit I backtracked and took the ATV trail down from the ridge. Interesting if you like roads that are more like rockslides. I followed that down to the Class VI extension of Belknap Mountain Road and walked that back to my car.
Not what I planned, but hey, it was still a good walk in the woods. :) |
