 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Plenty of blowdowns on the stretch from Nashua Road to Kidder Mt Trail. It's likely that the section from Windblown to Pratt is not well traveled as in several places the trail was difficult to follow. |

We were hiking from north to south, from Bellettete to Watatic. From Bellettete to Windblown the trail is well blazed (yellow triangles) and there’s sufficient signage until one gets south of Windblown. From here south the blazing becomes infrequent or worn with little signage and in many places the blazes disappear altogether. The blazing on the summit of Pratt is confusing and heading south from Pratt two trails diverged. The trail on the right (west) continues with yellow blazes but in a different shape. We and another hiker we met later took this trail by mistake.
There are stunningly beautiful views in all directions from the ridge and this is overall a great trail! |
