Comments
Comments: Variable day above treeline with sun, to clouds to rain and everything in between. Escaped a storm in the hut and afterwards the rocks down airline below treeline were super slick. King Ravine is a super place and love being in and around it. Great Gully was very wet after the previous night's rain, but is a fun trail to work out of the ravine floor. Rock-whack to Sam Adams from thunderstorm junction is probably easier from immediately south of the peak on gulfside as we went back that way. Lots of thru hikers at the hut and on gulfside/osgood.
