Gauging from Grete's instincts, noticeable upswing of wildlife activity and scents in the woods today. |

Sunny and brisk winds at times. Blown in snow in varying conditions on trails beginning 1/2 mile before loop junction. Thankful new Northern Lites arrived in mail Monday; my old worn out pair would have made climb up South Hancock very challenging today. The ridge is drifted in places. Sliding down loop trail from North Hancock alot of fun. |
