 | Comments: |
Nice loop avoiding most of the crowds on Mt Major. Trails were mixed conditions with dry in the sun and wet in the shade. Several areas of standing and running water along the whole loop, all easy to get around. Rocks were really slippery from the rain last night and the high humidity. The main routes to Mt Major are in dire need of some work. The erosion is out of control and the trails are growing wider by the day. Some areas of the Brook Trail are reaching 30 feet wide now. |
