Until the next extended rain storm all crossings are very low with a slow current, pretty easy rock hops too. |

Saw one happy dog! Experienced trail dogs would love it as there is plenty of water along the Lincoln Brook Trail |

All trails and "bushwhacks" are in fine shape. Black Pond BW and Brutus BW are well defined soft cushiony paths. Lincoln Brook Trail has the usual mud spots but it's the driest I've seen it in quite awhile. Some easy step overs up to and along the ridge to the summit but Owl's Head but path is easy to follow.
Nice morning to head into the Pemi for a run. Very quiet trails, outside of Lincoln Woods on the way back. Saw only a few hikers, apologies to the guy who started asking me questions as I was 25 to 50 feet past you, I couldn't hear you that well as I was heading in the opposite direction, yes I did make it to the top if that's what you wanted to know! :) |
