Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Tight but manageable parking along the left side of the Starr King Road. About six cars there when I arrived at about noon.

Water Crossing Notes: All are solid.

Trail Maintenance Notes: No bendovers or other obstructions --- the saw stayed in the pack.

Dog-Related Notes: Kody sat this one out --- his toes were cold on Pierce so he went home early to lay on the couch. Plus, I had run out of of milkbones, so he had no further use for me at that point.

Comments: Microspikes for the first mile then switched to snowshoes as the trail felt spongy on the packed powder. But, trail was solidly packed and easy, clear sailing. Terrific sun & views back on Starr King.
