| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Tight but manageable parking along the left side of the Starr King Road. About six cars there when I arrived at about noon. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All are solid. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No bendovers or other obstructions --- the saw stayed in the pack. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Kody sat this one out --- his toes were cold on Pierce so he went home early to lay on the couch. Plus, I had run out of of milkbones, so he had no further use for me at that point. |

| Comments: |
Microspikes for the first mile then switched to snowshoes as the trail felt spongy on the packed powder. But, trail was solidly packed and easy, clear sailing. Terrific sun & views back on Starr King. |
