Comments
Comments: Well I was not sure where the trail was or where it headed to as I did no research but we were able to find this trail head and followed the yellow blazes. I will say at times it is a little hard to find but only once you get to the rock to your right (go that way). Then after the ledges walk back towards the peak cairn and continue on to the left. The trail gets very lightly used from here til the better woods. It definitely does not get a lot of foot traffic and could use some brushing and only one or two smaller trees with a saw. We did an out and back from that summit and back to bacon ledge which was a great view with pitcher mountain in the view. We then made it back to the car for a nice little afternoon hike before dinnertime!
