Parking after sharp right off Bear Notch Road, room for about 3-4 cars... a few tricky potholes |

Mostly dry, except for the larger one, which was a two-three rock hop. |

Trail well maintained. Three or four step-over downed logs across the trail. Slippery gravel after the first lookout ledge. |

Love this trail. The 3 outlooks are excellent panoramas of chocorua and passaconaway. We also followed Steve Smith's instructions to go past the height of land ledge another .15 miles to some step-up rock on the right for views of Carter Dome. As a previous noter said, should be on the "52 with a view". A couple of large rocks to scramble up, and the gravel after the first ledge is quite slippery. |
