Comments
Comments: Walked up Route 142 from our car, passing the posted white house. Just beyond the last posting, we entered the woods and almost immediately spotted a yellow blaze on a tree above us. Followed the trail which had red tags, striped tags and yellow blazes up to a view point with amazing views of Cannon, Franconia Ridge and even the Presidentials. The trail takes a hard right towards the summit just before this viewpoint. yellow blazes all the way. No jar but there was a combination blue and striped tag hanging from a tree just off the trail, next to where it starts heading down the other side? Nice trail, just a few overgrown sections and one moss covered rock stretch. Fun hike. Thanks to Beth Z. for the great directions!
