Comments
Comments: Gorgeous morning for a climb. I had the entire mountain to myself for most of the day, I didn't see any other hikers until I was 1/3 of the way down.

I always forget how steep this trail is. The first 2.6 miles is a flat walk through the woods to the junction with Attitash, then it goes up fast. All of the elevation gain is in the last 2 miles.

The summit was a little chilly just after 8am especially when the wind would gust, but the views were unreal: Crystal clear air for miles and miles. As much as I wanted to linger, the wind was brutal so I snapped a few pictures, slammed my victory beer, then got my butt back into the trees where it was warmer.
