Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Great Gulf is a bit tough to follow at times descending across the multiple stream crossings between Sphinx & 6 Husbands- it's a Wilderness Area so it is what it is; Otherwise, well maintained trails!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several happy & well behaved ones seen on Gulfside
Bugs
Bugs: Only ones seen today was around the potholes on Caps Ridge both in and out
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a blue and black bandana tied around a rock on the first or second cap on the CRT. It was still there on the way down so we packed it out meaning to leave it at the TH, but forgot it in our bag! If this is yours DM me and I'll mail it your way!

Comments
Comments: Less than ideal weather to start with low clouds obscuring the first cap, but they lifted as we went up with only a few moments spent in the clouds on the Cornice and Gulfside. Clay is super underrated with the views of the northern presis, Washington and the Great Gulf. I've avoided this loop in the past but will not in the future! The cold between the 2 humps on Clay is a very cool spot with it's small "lawn"!
