Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail from the junction of Moriah Brook trail to Shelburne trail and half way to Hastings exists in name only. There are numerous sections that are washed out with no attempt at temporary markings to reconnect up with the trail. Only try this trail if you are skilled in off trail hiking.

Comments
Comments: As noted, this is trail in name only despite its importance in high water. The trail is washed out in numerous locations along the river bank and some sections undermined before dispaearing. The banks have been overtopped in area leading to gravel deposits that look like a trail bed that inevitably peter out. It requires off trail navigation skills.
