Comments
Comments: Well this was Melissa's firetower finish and wow did it go out with a bang! I have been there before in 2016 and it has for sure gotten worse. Some parts are better than maintained trails. Definitely more blowdowns than last time. The side hill had the same blowdowns as last time as I remember going up and over and under and over and more under. The trickery part was after that as the hobble brush and other bushes have gotten bigger for sure and it is hard to see the footpath. The part around the first nob at 3000 screwed us up a little on the way up but definitely side tracked us big time on the way out (where the big white stump is). It was harder to find on the way up but seemed better on the way down after that all the way to the top. I am hoping to not have to come back here which is sad that this has a closed trail as the view is amazing on the route. To the next list for Melissa.
