Comments
Comments: The herd path from Carrigain Notch up to Vose Spur is well traveled and easy to follow. We never lost it at all from bottom to top. Only a few alternative paths that reconnect at higher/lower elevations.
The bushwack from Vose Spur to Carrigain was challenging and slow going. There was no herd path at all, only a few game trails nearer to Carrigain. The undergrowth is thick and the terrain steep in places. Views of Signal Ridge were great from the talus slope.
