Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Many of the snow bridges at the bottom of Liberty Spring and Flume Slide are gone. Not hard to cross, plenty of rocks, but on the flip side they do some damage to the snow shoes.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Flume Slide Trail was hardly marked. I am pretty sure whoever was before us started bushwacking it and we followed.

Comments
Comments: Fair amount of snow still. If the weather stays cold we'll get a few more weeks out of it. With warm weather it will get pretty muddy on Flume Slide, got a snow shoe covered in mud near the middle of the trail. Not sure if we did the proper ascent of Flume Mt, but it was pretty steep to say the least. Recommend crampons and at least 1 axe. Did it with MSR snowshoes and trekking poles, but felt like I could have slide down the face of the mountain at any moment, 2 other in the group felt the same way. We passed a guy on the way up, but think he bailed half way up. Tons of snow at the top, great trip.
