Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There is no water on the Upper Jewel trail, Gulfside, or Trinity Heights. BRING EXTRA WATER! I saw many unhappy dogs today, even with the cool breeze. The rocks above tree line are jagged and have the ability to rip pads. Really consider why you are taking your dog with you. Make sure they can handle it.
Bugs
Bugs: Yes. You’re outside, what do you expect?
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: NA

Comments
Comments: I have not been to Mt Washington since 2015... what a great day this was. Jewel is steep, Gulfside is rocky, the summit is a mad house. But it’s all so worth it. Just prepare for your hike with the appropriate gear. If you bring a dog up there, watch them closely.
