Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The two largest brook crossings on Little East Pond Trail were rock hoppable, but still took a bit of care to avoid wet feet. They were flowing pretty good from recent rains in this area.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails in generally good shape. A couple minor leaners. Little East Pond Trail could use some brushing after it leaves the old railroad bed.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure.
Bugs
Bugs: Mosquitoes mostly.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found a sit pad along East Pond Loop and carried it out.

Comments
Comments: This whole loop was wet and muddy from recent rains. A few areas of significant mud, but mostly just wet. I did the loop clockwise and only encountered three people. There was one brief shower, but the sun was out again when I arrived at East Pond. This is always a great hike. These ponds feel very remote.
