 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The two largest brook crossings on Little East Pond Trail were rock hoppable, but still took a bit of care to avoid wet feet. They were flowing pretty good from recent rains in this area. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All trails in generally good shape. A couple minor leaners. Little East Pond Trail could use some brushing after it leaves the old railroad bed. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Mosquitoes mostly. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
I found a sit pad along East Pond Loop and carried it out. |

 | Comments: |
This whole loop was wet and muddy from recent rains. A few areas of significant mud, but mostly just wet. I did the loop clockwise and only encountered three people. There was one brief shower, but the sun was out again when I arrived at East Pond. This is always a great hike. These ponds feel very remote. |
