Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: First... RAVINE LODGE allows dogs to stay there. They just aren’t allowed in the dining room and they ask you to take a room over a bunk. Second.... Great loop for dogs but long and becoming increasingly dry. Pack in extra water. Third... For the love of God people. Leash your dogs at the summit. I was disrupted by 2 running up on my dog and she was not happy about it. Nor were the Thru Hikers who were trying to eat lunch. I don’t care about on trail but at the summit when people are trying to relax is just too much. We had to cut our visit short.
Bugs
Bugs: Yup... You’re outside. There are bugs out there.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing. This is surprising.

Comments
Comments: My 12th visit to the Moose on this classic loop. I am shocked at how much the trail has changed. It’s gotten wider, it seems less green below tree line, very dry too. It makes me a little sad as I love this peak.

Nothing remarkable to report. Just be mindful of the alpine vegetation and stay off the grass and other plants.
