Comments: Signal Ridge Parking Lot Peak is on the New Hampshire 2000-Footer and New Hampshire 500 Highest lists.

We started up the Signal Ridge Trail for a very short distance. We then jumped off the trail and started bushwhacking west up some steep stuff to gain the ridge. Once on the ridge the grade turned to moderate for a bit. Still in nice woods we followed the ridge with a little bit of ups and downs. At roughly 1900 feet of elevation we skirted a bit north west up some more steeps to avoid lots of large boulder fields/ outcrops on the southern side of the mountain.

Once we were around that section, we turned west still in nice woods and with some steep stuff mixed in and soon enough we hit the recognized high point. Other bushwhacker before us noted on their trip reports that the summit register/ jar was missing so we brought one and placed it. For our return trip we set off east following our footsteps back for a bit and the turned more northeast dropping down and picking up Signal Ridge Trail that brought us back to the truck.

Nice quick adventure clocking in just under 900 feet of elevation gain and just over 2 miles
